An article by Emily Devlin ran in the Sentinel about “Pathways” being accepted by the City Councillors as a gift to the City of Fitchburg on October 5, 2010.
This Saturday, October 16, I will return to the 2010 Fitchburg Forge-In Blacksmith Festival. It will be held at Riverfront Park in Fitchburg from 10 am to 5 pm. Since I was there last year, we decided it would be nice to return to discuss the project and show the progress to date.
We will also be inviting everyone to the “Pathways” Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony November 4th at 4 pm at Market Basket.
Hope to see you this Saturday!
The FCA committee, City Concilperson and I were on-site yesterday. It was good to see the brickwork and base almost complete. The next action you may see on-site will be the electric work for lighting. The installation of “Pathways” will take place next month.

I’m showing the committee how tall the pieces will actually be. Yesterday, we also reviewed details of the project, and decided where lighting would be within the retaining wall.
