ART on Water Street Bridge

Picked up the wheels today from W.R. Sharples in Attleboro, MA.  I am very happy with the 1/4” thick, stainless steel decorative details that will be welded onto “Pathways”.  The large wheel is meant to appear as a bicycle wheel, representing the Longsjo Classic bicycle race.  The gears and standard wheels are representative of the wheels that were once manufactured in the mills in Fitchburg.  I also like that grouped together these wheels will appear to be working together, similarly found within the community of Fitchburg.
